Business
Trazar™ Corporation, a privately held Silicon Valley company
founded in 1987 for designing, manufacturing and servicing Automatic
Impedance Matching (AIM) networks. Trazar also offers integrated
outsourcing and specialty contract electromechanical manufacturing
services to high-technology companies.
Semiconductor Products Division
Trazar is the industry leader in “Mean time Between Failure” (MTBF)
with their 13.56 MHz, 25W to 5kW AIM Networks. These RF units also
feature one of the fastest tuning times in the industry over a
broad tuning range and offer automatic tuning for fast, efficient
and accurate setup. Trazar's compact AIM units are integrated into
custom network configurations in the semiconductor manufacturing
equipment of its major customers, including Novellus Systems, Mattson
Technology and Applied Materials and a number of other SEMI industry
companies. The company can also custom develop AIM’s for
flat-panel displays, thin-film media and R&D applications.
Trazar also offers a proprietary Electrostatic Chuck Controller
for SEMI industry plasma chamber manufacturers.
Specialty Contract Manufacturing (SCM) Division
Integrated Outsourcing Services for low- to medium-volume production
of high-quality, high-value electromechanical, hydralic and pneumatic
assemblies are available to companies in the medical, laser,
semiconductor equipment and other similar precision industries.
The Trazar SCM division is a reliable source for the engineering,
production and materials management services needed to produce
complex products quickly and economically.
Trazar Assured Quality Product Program (AQP)
The Trazar AQP Program
is a unique Customer Focused program provided for all Trazar AIM
networks. The program was developed utilizing the same concept
as Mercedes Benz and BMW’s “Previously Owned Automobile” program.
All AIM units that are returned to Trazar for a Platinum Service
Program are refurbished and tested to “like new” condition
and then issued a new warranty for 12 to 24 months, depending on
the chosen program. There is also a Platinum Lifetime Service Program
that allows for the unit to be under warranty for the life of the
process tool.
Trazar RF Service Group
Trazar has now added a full-service operation for servicing and
repairing both Trazar and non-Trazar manufactured RF AIM Networks
and RF generators.
Market Advantage
Trazar has received multiple annual customer quality awards for
its AIM product line and both proprietary and non-proprietary,
contract manufactured-products such as electrostatic chuck controllers
and custom, electromechanical pedestal lifts. Its stellar reputation
for solidly engineered products and expertise in RF power and
precision assemblies has enabled the company to expand beyond
semiconductor applications into medical, scientific, and R&D
markets.
Trazar is located in its modern, 32K sq. ft. Silicon Valley World
Headquarters in Santa Clara, California. This facility provides
space for Trazar's R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing & Sales
and Administration. In addition, in 2002, Trazar was certified
for ISO 9001:2000 registration.
Growth
Trazar's overall business continues to grow at an accelerated rate.
This has brought the total number of high-power RF units, currently
in the field, to well over 17,000 units worldwide. This does
not include the thousands of high quality, SCM manufactured assemblies
that have been delivered since that division’s inception
in 1994.
New Business Development
Trazar continues to pursue joint development agreements for expanding
their WW business opportunities. Trazar currently has strategic
agreements with Huettinger Electronics in Germany for the development
of high-power SEMI, RF generators. In 2003, Trazar also signed
a key sales, service and distribution agreement with Metron Technology,
for utilizing Metron’s 40+ world-wide semiconductor Fab
service centers as Authorized Trazar Distributor & Repair
Centers. Trazar is now a truly “Global” player in
the worldwide SEMI marketplace.
