July 2006: Trazar Corporation recorded its seventh consecutive International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2000 audit with ZERO Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
May 2006: At SEMICON West, San Francisco’s Moscone center , July 11-13, 2006, Trazar will showcase four product and service capabilities: The T5000 RF Match Enhancement; Proprietary RF Power Generators and Impedance Matching Systems; Service & Repair of RF Power Systems; and· Trazar’s RF Power Engineering Development Expertise. March 2006: Trazar has announced that they will be presenting their products at SEMICON China during the week of March 20th in Shanghai, China. Trazar will be showing their products in AIO Microservice’s booth #4537. AIO is Trazar’s new distributor partner for sales and RF Service and Repair in Mainland China. Trazar will be promoting their T5000 Match Enhancement, their Electrostatic Chuck Controller and their industry leading, long-time MTBF, RF Matching Units.
January 2006: Trazar continues to stay on the top of the Quality pyramid by making it “6 for 6” with its latest ISO 9001:2000 Audit. Once again, Trazar has come away with ZERO Corrective Action Requests (CAR”S) in their latest ISO Audit. Not only is this Trazar’s 6th consecutive audit with ZERO CAR’s, this latest score was achieved during Trazar’s, 3 year ISO Recertification Audit. Trazar now has a record of over 3 years of perfect ZERO scores for their ISO Audits.
October 2005: Trazar Corporation unveils the industry’s first configurable automatic impedance match (CAIM) development platform for RF Matches, called Horizon Match™. This new platform is targeted to reduce design and development time by more than half. The Horizon platform is intended for 200mm and 300mm, plasma-based semiconductor equipment, medical systems and industrial applications. Read the full press release here.
August 2005: Trazar has now made it “5 for 5” by completing their 5th consecutive, ISO 9001:2000 surveillance audit with ZERO Corrective Action Requests (CAR’s). The average number of CAR’s for ISO companies is 7+ minor CAR’s per year. This means that Trazar has completed its initial 3 year commitment to the ISO 9001:2000 standards with a perfect score.
July 2005: Trazar began repairing, testing and returning the initial older RF units previously manufactured by Cubic RF. This is in accordance with Trazar’s new license from Cubic to both service and manufacture, 4 design variations of their Megasonic RF Power supply. New production at Trazar is currently in transition from Cubic’s San Diego manufacturing facility and Trazar’s full production should start shipping in November, 2005.
June 2005: Trazar’s exclusive licensing of Cubic’s RF generators marks entré into megasonic cleaning markets. Trazar Corporation has acquired the exclusive manufacturing and marketing rights to a number of RF generator products of the Communications Business Unit of Cubic Defense Applications, the defense segment of Cubic Corporation (AMEX:CUB). May 2005: Trazar announces substantial discounts on several products and services including: volume pricing discounts on the T5000 match enhancement program; the Platinum Service and Platinum Lifetime Service Plans; and, a 20% discount on any sale of available refurbished RF generators through Trazar’s RF Service & Repair division.
February 2005: Trazar has created a new Match enhancement program called the T5000. This enhancement program produces highly reliable P5000 Matches that remain compatible with the system’s plasma process without the need for re-qualifying a totally new RF Matching unit. Trazar offer this “enhanced” RF unit at approximately half the cost of a new P5000 Matching unit and it comes with a 12 month Trazar factory warranty. Eight popular P5000 models are eligible for the T5000 enhancement. (See the T5000 Data Sheet in “RF Products” for Model Numbers) These 8, P5000 Models have been, or are in process of being, “Beta” tested at 6 major Fab’s, and their process transparency has been verified. January 2005: Once again, Trazar has made Trazar ISO history. This was accomplished by Trazar completing their 4th consecutive ISO 9001:2000 surveillance audit with ZERO Corrective Action Requests (CAR’s). The average number of CAR’s for ISO companies is 7 to 15 minor CAR’s per year.
December 2004: Trazar has been selected for providing a company profile at the Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) Trade Show, January 10-12, Booth 304, at the Anaheim, CA. convention center. Trazar will be focusing on and promoting the Trazar Specialty Contract Manufacturing Division (SCM) at this show. A corporate profile of Trazar will be published in the MD&M Show Program for the three day show.
November 2004: Trazar announces its new RF services business unit targeting semiconductor OEM’s RF power and matching systems. Total solutions provider fits overall industry and business trend of

October 2004: Trazar introduces RF Duo™, power and match solutions for the semiconductor manufacturing industry. This system includes a nominally 3kW RF power source (capable of 5kW peak output) manufactured for Trazar by Huettinger Electronics and the company’s automatic impedance matching (AIM) system that is customized to the generator and the individual OEM process requirements. September 2004: Trazar announces a modified, 3kW, 13.56MHz, Qinto RF generator module, directly as a replacement for the AE RFG 3000 or the ENI OEM-28B generator for the Novellus Concept 1™ Plasma System.
August 2004: Gelphman Associates, a well known and respected Silicon Valley PR organization, joining Trazar for helping to better promote Trazar’s new products, services and business expansion.
July 2004: Trazar made ISO history by joining a very small, elite group of ISO organizations by completing their 3rd consecutive ISO 9001:2000 surveillance audit with ZERO Corrective Action Reports (CAR’s).
June 2004: On June 22nd, Trazar Corporation joined the: San Jose Mercury News, Society of Women Engineers, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Professional Technical Diversity Network, Project Hired, HRCA, Nuevo Mundo, The Viet Mercury and Aftercollege in the Silicon Valley “Back to Work” Diversity Career Fair at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Hundreds of job seekers attended and hundreds of resumes were received for the multiple professional technical openings currently at Trazar.
May 2004: After many months of reviews and visits by Applied Materials Business & Technical Personnel, Trazar has recently been approved as an authorized, high power, RF repair center for AMAT’s, Applied Global Service Division. Any Applied Division that requires RF repair of an RF Generator or an AIM Network, can now input the units AMAT number into their data base system and they will then be directed to Trazar as an approved AMAT RF repair center.
April 2004: Trazar has completed the certification of Metron Technology’s first Trazar Authorized Repair Center (ARC) in Munich, Germany. This is the first of a World Wide network of ARC’s that will offer repair, sales and exchange services for Trazar’s AIM Networks. Metron will have repair capabilities in Japan, Singapore, China, S. Korea, and additional facilities in Europe by the end of 2004. Trazar World Headquarters in Santa Clara, CA, will continue to be the ARC for North America and FairTech Inc. remains a Trazar ARC in Taiwan.
March 2004: This month, Trazar began offering the 3kW, Trazar – Huettinger RF Generator production units for potential customers to sample and test in their semiconductor plasma chamber applications. Please see the specifications in the Products section or contact sales@trazar.com if you would wish to have one of these units for a new product development project.
February 2004: Trazar announces they have once again completed their second ISO 9001:2000 Surveillance Audit with a perfect score. For the second consecutive audit, no Corrective Action Requests (CAR’s) were required by the visiting ISO auditor. During the audit it was stated that "In 2003, SGS International, Trazar’s registrar and auditor completed approximately 800, ISO 9001 world-wide audits." Only 10 of those 800 organizations achieved “ZERO CARs”. Trazar was one of the 10 in 2003 and is now again, one for 2004. The average number of CAR’s per audit is normally in the 7-15 range.
Trazar has set a high benchmark in quality and business management—a standard that Trazar will maintain and continue to offer their valued customers. Trazar has implemented a BMS (Business Management System) with a continual improvement process that is paying dividends in internal efficiencies and external perspectives. All of this will continue to translate to more business opportunities and is now the proven process that Trazar has adopted for conducting its business practices.
January 2004: Trazar has performed a major remodel and renovation of their headquarters and manufacturing facility in Santa Clara, CA. They have also announced that they will be holding OPEN HOUSE II in February for customers to see and hear about all the new changes and the new alliances that have been established over the past 12 months.
