Trazar Names Gary Ater Vice President
of Sales and Marketing
Company Plans Major Expansion of Product Line, Relocation to Larger
Facilities and Acceleration of Specialty Contract Manufacturing

Santa Clara, Calif.-- February 15, 2000 -- Trazar Corp., designer
and manufacturer of automatic impedance matching (AIM) networks
for the semiconductor industry and RF power generation products
for research and development (R&D) and Inductively Coupled
Plasma (ICP) applications, today announced the appointment of Gary
Ater as vice president of sales and marketing.

Trazar’s ambitious goals of expanding our product lines,
tapping new markets and accelerating our specialty manufacturing
services,” said Ken Warburton, CEO of Trazar. “Mr.
Ater has more than 20 years experience managing worldwide marketing
and sales operations for major semiconductor and other high-technology
companies. We are confident he will provide the leadership we need.”
Previously, Mr. Ater was North American Business Manager for Philips
Semiconductor, Sunnyvale, Ca., where he was responsible for marketing
the company’s $190 million NA Logic products line. Mr. Ater
has also held executive marketing and sales management positions
with S-MOS Systems, San Jose, Calif., Mosel-Vitelic Corp. San Jose,
Calif. and Synergy Semiconductor, Santa Clara, Calif. Mr.
Ater holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from San Jose State University,
San Jose, and completed the American Electronics Association (AEA) Executive
Institute’s Mini MBA Program at Stanford University.
