Trazar’s Authorized Repair Centers now offer multiple service and repair programs including the Trazar Platinum Lifetime Service Plan for Trazar’s Automatic Impedance Matching Networks and Trazar’s RF Generators.

NEED AN RF WARRANTY FOR THE LIFE OF THE PROCESS TOOL?
Consider the Trazar PLatinum Lifetime Service Plan option. By signing up for the Trazar Platinum Lifetime Service Plan, the Trazar Automatic Impedance Matching (AIM) Network will be registered for a reduced-cost warranty that covers the unit for the entire life of the process tool. After the AIM unit’s initial warranty has expired, when the customer sends the unit to Trazar for a Platinum Service, they are also then eligible to sign up for the lifetime program. Upon having the initial Platinum Service performed at Trazar, for a small additional fee, the unit will receive the lifetime plan and a 2 year warranty (instead of the standard 1 year). The unit can then be sent back to Trazar every 24 months for a Platinum service at one-half the regular cost of a Platinum service plan. After each 24 month Platinum Service, the unit will continue to receive an additional 24 month warranty for the life of the tool.

All units received will be given a thorough inspection and in cases when the chosen program may not meet the necessary service requirements, the customer will be contacted for approval should any program require an upgrade.
Warranty: 12 months for the standard Platinum repair, 24 months for the Lifetime Platinum Plan.
Shipping Fees: Freight cost for all Platinum services are covered ONLY when using Trazar's designated freight carrier.

A Bronze service program performed at Trazar’s US factory headquarters is $2500. USD, plus freight charges. Bronze repair prices at the Trazar Authorized Repair Centers may vary from region to region.
Failure analysis reports are provided with warranty repairs at no cost, when requested. A failure analysis will also be provided when the warranty is deemed void due to customer cause. If your unit is out of warranty and you require a failure analysis, it can be provided for a charge of $250.00, in addition to any repair costs. |
WHEN DOES A BRONZE REPAIR NEED TO BE UPGRADED TO A PLATINUM REPAIR?
Physical Damage or Multiple Component Failure:
If the Trazar AIM Unit unit has received major physical damage or multiple component failures that cannot be remedied by a Bronze repair, the repair will be re-designated as a Platinum repair. (See below for “Customer Notification”.)
Servo PCB:
If the Trazar Servo PCB requires replacement, the repair will automatically be designated as a Platinum repair. Historically, if the Servo PCB is damaged or burned, there will be other critical components that are damaged due, to this type of failure. When this occurs, a Platinum repair is required in order to issue a full, Trazar factory service warranty. (See below for “Customer Notification”.)
Pittman Motors:
If the Trazar AIM Network still has the original Pittman brand motors, the repair will automatically be designated as a Platinum repair. Pittman units are under-powered and have been designated obsolete for Trazar AIM Networks. The Pittman units will be replaced with the proper replacement motors. (See below for “Customer Notification”.)
Customer Notification:
If a Bronze repair is required to be upgraded to a Trazar Platinum level, the customer will be notified to provide a PO change order with the new Platinum repair designation and the new price. (The customer is also notified that the R/T freight cost for a Platinum repair will be covered by Trazar at no extra charge.)
If the customer does not agree with the cost and the change to a Platinum repair, the unit will be reassembled, packaged in a new Trazar shipping container and returned to the customer. The customer will then be charged the shipping / packaging cost plus a $300. repair evaluation fee.
WHY YOU SHOULD SERVICE YOUR AIM NETWORK NOW AND WHY YOU WOULD DO THIS THROUGH A LOCAL TRAZAR AUTHORIZED REPAIR FACILITY?
- Trazar Authorized Repair Centers are also factory authorized distributors for Trazar Automatic Impedance Matching (AIM) Networks and RF Generators. Any work performed by an unauthorized Trazar repair facility will void any current factory warranty.
- Trazar’s factory repairs have longer warranties (2 yr, 1 yr, or 6 months depending on the repair plan) and the shipping is free for the Platinum program.
- Trazar and their Authorized Repair Centers have the factory specified testing equipment and latest test specifications.
- Trazar offers original or upgraded parts that have been tested and approved by Trazar Corporation and the original process tool manufacturer.
- Customers can receive minor repairs and the BRONZE level repair program at their local or regional Authorized Repair Center. The Authorized Repair Centers can also arrange for the Trazar factory PLATINUM level repair programs.
- All Automatic Impedance Matching (AIM) Network revisions and upgrades have been tested and approved by the process tool manufacturer.
- The Trazar Platinum Service Plan for Trazar AIM Networks provides the latest revision level which improves reliability, optimizes performance, and insures the latest safety enhancements. No unauthorized service facility is able to provide this factory-authorized service.
RELIABILITY: A PROVEN MAJOR COST SAVINGS
The SIA*** has determined that the cost of fabline downtime is $1.2 million per work shift**. This would represent a cost of $150,000/hour of downtime in replacing an Automatic Impedance Matching (AIM) Network. The estimated time to replace and restart an AIM network system is 4 hours, which would cost an estimated $600,000 in lost production time.
